Pallet Racking Audits
Brisbane & Bundaberg
CPSQ provides Pallet Racking Audits to our clients throughout Queensland.
Our inspector attends your site and assesses your racking system, creates working drawings and an inventory of your Pallet Racking whilst also checking for and damage or safety related issues.
Do I need a racking audit?
Pallet Racking is constantly under stress from forklifts, the loads imposed on the beams and various other elements. The AS4084-2012 standard advises that racking Audits be conducted regularly and at least every 12 months. Upon having your racking audit completed by our team, you will receive:
- Detailed report of the rack’s condition
- List of issues that require repair
- Recommendations on what will prevent further damage
- Discussions with staff on best practice for loading and unloading racking
Will my racking be certified on completion?
If any repairs have been completed and works undertaken to ensure compliance to AS4084-2012 then we will provide a certificate of compliance for 12 months from the date of issue.
What brands of racking do we inspect?
CPSQ can perform inspections on any Selective Pallet Racking brand providing we have access to the load charts or further information from the manufacturer. We obtain this on your behalf and generally only hit a road block when the racking has been imported directly from an overseas supplier who is unknown.
Can I complete Audits and Repairs myself?
Racking Audits can be completed by you, however you must have a complete understanding of the Australian Standard. The same applies for the repair work, as long as you are entirely competent with the particular repairs required, you can complete this yourself. Often the audit and repair can get complicated, particularly when specific parts or complex repairs are required, this is where our team shines, and will get this all sorted for you, while you focus on your business.
